Curriculum Support
Techease offer a bespoke computing curiculum support service. This service includes lesson plans, staff training, practical workshops, classroom sessions, clubs, weekly visits and much more.
Our curriculum support service includes:
» Strategic development of IT including audit of provision, action planning, development of policies and scheme of work.
» Practical strategies for using IT to enrich teaching and learning in all subject areas and in cross curricular themes/ topic work ensuring that a progression of skills is maintained across year groups.
» Auditing the effectiveness of your IT provision and its impact on learning.
» Developing an action plan for the development of Computing/IT in school including identifying appropriate CPD for staff.
» Developing your IT policy and e-safety policy to reflect new guidance.
» Developing and implementing an effective Scheme of Work for Computing which takes account of new technologies and encourages the creative use of IT across the curriculum as well as addressing the requirements for the proposed new curriculum.
» Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of the Computing curriculum and the effective use of IT across the curriculum, including in-class support using a team teaching model.
» Training using specific pieces of curriculum software and equipment, for example Scratch and other programming software to develop coding skills.
» Supporting the development of ICT projects, for example using digital movie cameras and sound recorders.
» Advice on purchasing curriculum software and resources.
This list is not exhaustive, and all services can be delivered during the school day, as an inset or during twilight sessions.
